Seed an Idea is a Stony Plain Multicultural Heritage Centre project aiming to create a “Youth Businesses in Agriculture Centre of Excellence” by helping youth to start businesses in agriculture by removing barriers and introducing them to new agricultural opportunities.  In Phase 1 of this project we are looking for high school students in Parkland County that are interested in learning how to start their own businesses. As part of the program they will go on field trips and listen to speakers talk about emerging changes and opportunities that the agriculture industry offers today.  Based on their input, participants in the program will also help shape the future of the program so that it fits their needs as young entrepreneurs.

To any entrepreneur: if you want to do it, do it now. If you don’t, you’re going to regret it.
